On the Chinese certification website 3C (China Compulsory Certificate), information has appeared about the new “smart" TVs that Xiaomi is preparing for release.
The panels are code-named L32M5-AD, L50M5-AD and L75M5-BH. Their size will be 32 inches, 50 inches and 75 inches respectively.
Observers believe that the new items will be included in the Xiaomi TV 5 Pro family. These devices have a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels, which corresponds to the 4K format.
In the case of new panels, the younger version can get a Full HD screen with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels. The other two panels will most likely conform to the 4K standard.
Devices are credited with having up to 4 GB of RAM and a flash drive with a capacity of up to 64 GB. As a software shell will be used proprietary interface Xiaomi PatchWall.
According to TrendForce, in the third quarter of this year, 54.97 million TV panels were delivered globally. Xiaomi is in fifth place in the ranking of leading manufacturers. This company sold 2.75 million televisions in three months. On an annualized basis, Xiaomi shipments increased by 14.6%.
